Lemon Juice Detox – Day 2
Woke up this morning about 7.30am and needed to get my butt to the bathroom pretty darn quick – so, suffice to say – the Senna Tea is working like a charm!
Went downstairs to make the SWF and felt totally unmotivated to drink it – I mean let’s be honest here – it sucks! But I did it in under 2 minutes by focusing on a sparrow that happened to be hopping about the garden!
Felt a bit hungry around midday but it soon passed. I’m curious to see if I get the onslaught of headaches tomorrow or whether my pre-tox has helped to combat the 3-4 day bleurgh!
My husband is considering joining me on the detox, so it will be interesting to get his point of view if he does. I’m not quite sute how he will work it around his job – infact, I’m curious to hear how YOU work it around your job.
I’m very lucky to run my business online from home, so doing the detox isn’t an issue, but if you are working and needing to shoot to the loo as your body adapts – how do you cope?
On another note, my cleaning vibe has kicked in again – I will probably have to detox regularly just to keep my house tidy! I spent a whole load of time tidying, scrubbing, washing and cleaning today, which is kinda normal behavious for me on Day 2! The urge to just clean everything in addition to myself is overwhelming – plus it takes my mind of eating until the hunger pains fade!
All in all – feeling good and a lovely day all round!

Hi Nikki! I am a full-time office employee so I did hesitate before deciding to do the detox. Since My work is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, I wake up about 4:00 in the morning to drink the SWF then after 15 minutes, i lie down (I find that it helps in keeping down the drink, less risk of throwing it up) and usually I go back to sleep. I will woke up a bit later (usually about 1 to 1 and a half hours) and take a bath. By that time, I will feel the effect of the SWF and the senna tea from last night and i will also make a trip to the toilet. After taking a bath, I will just wrap a towel on my body so that I can be ready for the next toilet trip. I usually have two-three trips before I will be set to go the office. And for the past two days, I was late. Haha. But it is totally worth it as I know I am doing it for the good of my body.
